Jay never disappoints. I have followed this series of books since it’s start wit ‘Space Pirates’. I love how the family has evolved through many twists and turns Doc taking over from his father as captain and his many exploits with aliens wives and now family even wedding a goddess. Brilliant as ever. Can’t wait for the next one.

Review of What Happens on Mira, Stays on Mira by Jay Toney Space pirates in need of a vacation visit Hades continuing their randy adventures – 4 stars What happens On is the best book of the Space Rogue series by far. It is easy in this book to keep the characters straight even when they undergo unity, change sex, appearance, go through childbirth and even try out new personalities. It may help to have a vague awareness of Greek gods or Dante’s inferno to appreciate what the author’s embellishments. It would be helpful to have read some of the Space Rouge series to have already met Persephone, Amber, Jewel and of course Nathaniel Roberts. Stella, Ares and Dante get more substantive roles in this book. I was surprised that characters were left behind in hades and that a long lost relative, Melinoe, becomes an item (even though she has been dead for centuries). Daryl is the artificial intelligence for Nathaniel’s ship and has developed a good intuition over the centuries. The role reversal from male to female is done well but requires Daryl to maintain the illusion that everyone is still aboard. A good “hook” is introduced to get readers interested in the next adventure. Keep reading! There is more to come.

What Happens On Mira, Stays On Mira (Space Rogue Book 9) by Jay Toney, Ann Attwood (Editor) This book is unique I have not read anything like this one before. This is science fiction about Greek Gods. First there is a malfunction with the multidimensional drive which has everyone arriving in the Sol system late, then the space ship is swallowed by a giant space fish. The characters are amazing and the story flows well. The characters have the ability to change into someone else very interesting especially when romance is involved. Lots of battles, a rouge AI is killing people and has to be stopped at all costs. This book is a must read and so different, get it today but have a few days of so you can put it down and get back to work when you are finished.

If you are into Greek gods and Science Fiction, this is a series for you. Well done and thought out. The book is fast paced and i enjoyed reading it. Jay puts a bit of humor into the story as well. During the few days I was reading the book, it kept carving more and more time out of my day to get through it. Highly recommended!

A powerful adventure where a rogue AI is murdering people and needs to be stopped… at all costs. Not the kind of welcomed vacation the Roberts was looking for; but one he can’t really ignore. Highly recommended.
