Royal families! You can’t even vote them out of office!
I appreciate the hard science that is peppered throughout the story as opposed to an easy fantasy approach where the reader has to take every strange event on faith and suspension of disbelief. As a non-military reader I loved having to learn the difference between AGL (Above Ground Level) altitude and MSL (Mean Sea Level) altitude.
Read on to find out which members of the royal family are stranded on Mars at the end and then continue this saga of intrigue in Book 2: “Occupation”!

Review:
How did humans really evolve on Earth? An interesting prehistoric tale of man’s first appearance on Earth, nee Tiamat. Primates never evolved on Earth. Humans arrived to mine all of its gold to save their planet. They discover Dire Wolves, poisonous snakes, Water Dragons (Crocodiles), and Sea Devils (Sharks) and have to adapt and survive.

Review:
This book is the beginning of what looks to be a great series. The characters are well rounded and developed. The world building is on the spectacular side of things. The plot gives hints of a deep dive into a fabulous storyline. This story reflects a vast background in sci-fi reading over many years. I found this book difficult to put down while reading. I recommend it to all readers.

I’m not sure whether this was meant to be fiction or a factual story of the Sumerian tablets. I really enjoyed the story and immediately bought the next in the series, Occupation.
