Gods, goddesses, wars, love and an ongoing search for roots. What else could you ask for. Nathaniel and his crews continue to claw their way through space on their mission. Never a dull moment with this team.

Review:
YES! This book has the Space Opera vibe returning, IMHO, edging away from the Romance Novel the series seemed to be heading towards. I don’t want to drop any spoilers but I can’t think of anything neutral to say. It is an excellent addition to the Space Rogue Series and I think you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Review:
Humor gets accented in this quest for the long lost planet Earth – 4.5 stars Earth Quest is the best of the series. Captain Nathanial Roberts has been adding to his adventure-seeking crew in an intent to find the birthplace of humanity. Aliens have also joined the crew as well as some Greek gods and goddesses. Bob, a semi major god, has changed the rules, returning virginity to Jewel and Amber and un-wifing them from Nathan. Nathan becomes betrothed to Persephone and the extended family gets side stories from Athena and Demeter. The space adventure story is the plot. The progress of searching for Earth seems equivalent course of a bee searching for honey; Captain Roberts they is seeking the remains of Earth 2000 years after nuclear pollution has decimated the planet. In bite sized adventures, we deal with the output of a fruitful imagination. We have Egyptian pyramids on one planet, a space fish escaping whalers and giving her calf to Captain Roberts, mermaids, a disk geometry world having an 8th century economy, dragons, a major battle in which Captain Roberts and Persephone are outnumbered 100 to 1 and a wedding. (These chapter titles do not give anything of substance away – you will find each chapter funny in its own way continuing much of the bawdiness that has come before). And there will be more in The Dark Citadel which follows. What made each adventure enjoyable was usually the humanity – no humility here – of the set of characters in each adventure. Each adventure was sequenced — for instance, you need to know about the mermaids for a later scene. You will see parts of the crew going off on their separate ways as a new adventure begins. The vastness of space keeps getting infinitesimally smaller as various alien technological breakthroughs are incorporated into the space ships. One the social platform, the speed of rumors and gossip is still far faster than light will ever be, jumping between starships before any messages are written or spoken.

It is all fun. No animals are hurt but a fair number of Alliance fighters are killed in addition to a few killings in skirmishes along the way. Earth Quest is good entertainment and lots of fun.
