The cities in Loki’s realm are thriving, and the human population is growing rapidly. If something isn’t done to stop them, they will soon outnumber the Nephilim people. It is up to him to do it—he has a plan. They will die! If the growing human population isn’t enough for him to deal with, now Gerald’s son, Markus, wants to marry one of the filthy creatures. He can’t stop him. If he denies the brat his blessing, he will marry the girl out of defiance. Unknown to him, the conclusion of the wedding vows is the signal the Igigi have set in place, to abduct Earthling wives of their own. The epic story continues. Great characters ,detailed scenes and great world building . Lots of action to keep you glued to the pages.

Looking forward to Book 4: “War of the Lords”!

In Book 3: “Disaster” we find that Earth is facing a 3-prong extinction-level scenario. The Royals are divided as to what solution (if any) should be applied. Resources are confiscated or denied by the anti-human royal(s) and the humanoid population may soon be left to its terrible fate. What should have been a paradise is being abandoned by all who have the means to get off-world. But with careful planning and use of remaining resources on Earth an “ark” is constructed from the salvaged ship “Orion”. An uneasy alliance between the pro-human and the anti-human royals results, but will it hold? I look forward to the continuing story of the resolution of the fates of the royals and their heirs and offspring in Book 4: “War of the Lords”!

Review:

An advanced civilization lives through an extinction event on earth-4 stars A god-like, long-living civilization intermarries with humans and thrives. Neanderthal-type humans are enslaved but some female humans are accepted multiplying quickly. The invaders have space ships and air cars for transport. Many of the invaders simply hate the indigenous humans who are treated poorly. Parallels to Cain and Able and Noah’s ark are obvious. Because the invaders have exceptionally long lives and technology that has not been achieved even now, they were viewed as “sky gods”. The Nephilim and Igigi races are mostly separate from the human workers. The Shangri-La is interrupted by global warming, magnetic storms, a comet, and rising seas. Getting prepared and riding out the tragedy is the basis of the story with a few interludes of god-like power and time for sex. This “Disaster” is escapist fun with a bit of biblical back story. While this is part of a series, it can be read and understood without the previous stories.
