The miracle of Christmas beyond the stars far far in to the future. Doc, his wife, and baby boy (the future Space Pirate Roberts) the AI, and crew of the Queen Anne’s Revenge experience a true Christmas miracle even though they don’t know what Christmas is.

What happens when you don’t know what Christmas is, but you experience a Christmas miracle. How do you explain it? A doctor, his wife and baby son who will one day become someone we all know as Space Pirate Roberts. With the crew of the Queen’s Anne’s Revenge and her AI going along for the ride.

The Roberts clan holds true to form with snarky attitudes and total pirate behaviors that we have come to expect and love. Expect surprises and twists as they romp their way across the galaxies. A great read. Enjoyed the read.

Christmas in July? In SPACE??

Yes, Elaunae, there IS a Santa Claus, or at least a Kris Kringle, and he is carrying on the magical Christmas season all over the known universe! When Space Pirate Doc Roberts receives a “request” from his beloved wife Elaunae (in order to keep the peace) he wonders how he will be able to comply with an entreaty to re-create a traditional Christmas for their little son Nathaniel based on their limited knowledge of the lore. Doc Roberts loves his family, despite being a rather ruthless pirate, and finds himself in a situation that puts him in contact with an expert on the Christmas traditions. As you can imagine Doc himself has been on the “naughty” list most all of his life but that is no reason to deny his family a joyous holiday and so the fun and the difficulties begin!

I don’t wish to include any spoilers in this review, but trust me – it’s an exciting tale from author Jay Toney, who must have met Doc Roberts (AND Santa Claus) at some point to be able to portray them so vividly!

I loved this Novella by Jay Toney! A fun, exciting and thrilling story! Only Jay could mix Pirates with Xmas and get away with it. I highly recommend this short entertaining story!
