The author has taken and ancient story and put a very new twist on it. Murder, treachery, love, hate and rolled them into a saga of epic proportions. Overall a good read.

I enjoyed this book very much. It is an interesting and inventive mash up of “Ancient Aliens” and the Pentateuch. I had a couple of minor niggles with it, though. I understand the convention of the use of a human to be “augmented” to be a scribe to the story telling alien who evidently physically looks extremely similar to human beings, but it creates occasional confusion, such as when a “box that keeps things cold and fresh” gets into the narrative – takes a moment to realize who is talking, the narrator or the scribe. The other issue I had was that a civilization that has mastered inter-stellar travel and uses anti-gravity devices to land their inter-stellar spacecraft on worlds uses rather prosaic “bulldozers” and other commonly used items in construction. One other issue was the use of nuclear weapons – I am presuming the alien civilization was advanced enough to use other fissionable materials than plutonium, which would leave a radioactive residue even to our current time. But, I still found this a very enjoyable read. I am happy, tough, to realize that all of the faults I have previously ascribed to being human (greed, jealously, anger, hypocrisy, etc., AREN’T our faults! It is the alien’s fault!

I just finished reading Jay Toney’s Invasion Earth. I found it to be an interesting retelling of the Anunnaki & Human creation/bible stories. It answers a number of questions including the creation of the pyramids, the destruction of Sodom & Gomora, & the Tower of Babel. Very interesting & thought provoking.

Fascinating story, if a bit on the dry side. I did enjoy the characters and the detail, but some readers might be overwhelmed.

This book is an excellent story told through the eyes of two characters, Enki and Endubsar. If you enjoy Zecharia Sitchin and his works then this book will be a fun read about humanity and our ancient herstory. I hope this author will continue writing more great books with an ancient astronaut theme!

Based on the Tablets of Enki, translated by Zechariah Sitchin, the story starts with the destruction of seven cities during the last War of the Gods. Ninurta is tasked with using nuclear weapons to destroy the Mission Control Center and spaceport in the Sinai Peninsula. After completing the mission, his wingman, Great detail and amazing characters. A great start for a good story.
